1997 Infiniti i30 active noise
Jan 22nd, 2012 by admin

The noise sounds like it’s coming from the front rack (passenger side, I believe). It’s a “wobbly” sort of noise that seems to increase with the speed of the car. No noise if the car isn’t actually moving. I’ve replaced the outer tie rod ends, swaybar links, and the control arms (was told the bushing in the passenger control arm was shot and that was causing the noise). New tires up front with less than 100 miles on them. Any ideas? My initial thought was that it was the bearings in the front wheels, but we lifted the front end and spun the wheels..all seemed okay.
